Marjan Vayghan is curator for fashion.

As Curator for Fashion on the Executive Board of JTTS, I am developing Threads of Synesthesia: Textile-Poems & Wearable Memory — a program that complements FashionTech with craft-based sensory fashion. It envisions runway-exhibitions where garments are paired with poetry and scent, workshops that invite neurodiverse participants to translate drawings into textiles, and catalogs that double as poetry books and audio archives.  My fashion practice, which I call textile-poetry, carries memory, resilience, and synesthesia into tangible form: each fabric a poem, each garment a vessel for story, each collection a multisensory landscape of sight, sound, touch, and scent. My work is at once intimate and expansive — born from the memory of war, shaped by ocean light, and carried forward as a vision of fashion not as consumption, but as communion: a bridge between body, memory, and the vast universe of human perception.
